Russian developers have presented a mobile app that analyzes a photo of coffee grounds and gives a prediction. No magicians, no fortune-tellers — only neural networks and pattern recognition.

The user takes a photo of the cup with coffee residue, the app processes the image, identifies symbolic shapes and gives an interpretation — from personal events to work questions. The developers call it a "digital oracle" and claim that the interpretation accuracy reaches 75% thanks to training on thousands of labeled images.

The project is already being tested in closed mode. It is promised to be released to the public by the end of the year.
